The Brazil national football team is controlled by the CBF and represents Brazil in international football competitions. They are the most successful national football team in the history of the World Cup, with five championships (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002). A common quip about football is: "The English invented it, the Brazilians perfected it." ("World Cup History - The Facts and Stats", William Hill, May 28, 2006) Currently ranked second by FIFA, Brazil is generally considered to be the strongest football nation in the world and is the only team to have played in every World Cup.
The current crop of brazillians including: Ronaldinho, Kaka, Robinho, Fred and Daniel Alves are just as entertaining to watch as the former members of teh national team which includes: Pele, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Roma and Zico.
With entertaing young talent still coming through in the bus load the future is looking bright for Brazil in the near future and beyond the 2014 World Cup.
